Robot (Enthiran in Tamil), which starred the beautiful Aishwarya  Rai Bachchan & superstar Rajinikanth  twisted out to be the biggest hit of 2010, in the face of competition from Salman Khan’s Dabangg & Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan. It was also the highest grossing South film of all time till the topical Baahubali - The Beginning.

as you would expect, for a film this big, there were talks of a continuation doing the rounds. Rumours stated that a plethora of actors like Deepika Padukone , Aamir Khan& even Arnold Schwarzenegger had been approached to star in the movie. But actually the deal fell through due to schedule clashes & additional reasons.

on the other hand, the leading lady for the follow-up has been finalised & it's the vivacious Amy Jackson whose film, Singh is Bliing has been pulling in a number of serious moolah at the box-office. If the noise is to be believed, the actress it appears that visited Los Angeles in recent times to get her body mould made for the particular costumes that she’ll be seen in.

The film will have more wasteful special effects and will be loaded with the usual brand of Rajinikanth-esque action. It’s all set to go on the floors come 2016. one more major blockbuster in the making, someone?
