After Prem Ratan Dhan Payo success, Salman reveals his Hollywood plans

After the grand success of Sooraj Barjatya's PRDP, Salman Khan let his fans in on his Hollywood plans.
If remembrance serves Salman Khan fans well (& usually it does), one would be able to recall how a only some months ago, Dabangg Khan had waxed fluent with praise for Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone.
HOLLYWOOD FOR SALMAN KHAN? NOT QUITE Possibly the New EXPENDABLES', was the film Stallone almost offered Salman Khan. though, given what Khan just had to say, Hollywood doesn't quite seem an option for the PRDP star. In an interaction with the media to thank populace for the success of his latest release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman Khan said that he is not eager on trying for Hollywood due to the language factor & the fact that it will take time to establish a reputation present.

When asked if he would be interested in Hollywood, Salman's response was, "I like to work in India lots & I like to deliver dialogues in Hindi. Suddenly, behind Hindi dialogues for so many years, if I say dialogues in English, it would look a bit strange on me. I'm very happy here. They (Hollywood) work really hard, but we don't need to work that hard here. I'll have to establish respect once more, & when I'm already receiving so much respect here, then why? We work for respect , it's taken so lots of years to earn respect here, so I don't see some point."
But Salman didn't avoid Hollywood totally. The actor said,
"If it's a movie related to us (Indians), I might do it but I don't have whichever interest or craze for it."
While in India, the Rs 100-crore, Rs 200-crore or Rs 300-crore tag is measured quite hefty; overseas, the box office figures for a big-budget film is a lot of times that number. Khan feels the Indian film industry needs to produce to the Hollywood level. There have been claims that PRDP has fared better than the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt-starrer By The ocean in the US.
Salman khan said,
"The Hindi film production should grow so much that there should not be any comparison between them & us. Our film has broken the records of films there, & that is a moment of joy for each one. & that's what we want, that everybody should be happy."

PRDP, which has earned more than Rs 130 crore in India in its opening weekend, & Rs 250 crore worldwide, has become the largest Hindi opener of the year so far. The movie sees Salman reuniting with Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hit the screens on 12th November, & ever since, has been doing wonders to the box office, both in India & overseas.
though the film received largely sundry reviews from critics, it seems to have been embraced by the viewers. Public have been flocking to the theatres to catch a glance of Salman Khan's lover boy Prem , the on-screen cross he's come back to after a decade-&-a-half.
