Priyanka !'Bajiro Mastani' not competing with 'Dilwale': 

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" & Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" are set for a box-office clash next month, but actress Priyanka Chopra feels the two movies are not competing with each other as they are different in conditions of content.

The Rohit Shetty directed a great deal-awaited "Dilwale" brings back the iconic on-screen pair of SRK & Kajol.
"Bajirao Mastani" stars Ranveer Singh as Peshwa Bajirao, Deepika  as Mastani while Priyanka essays the role of Kashi Bai.

"I don't think we are opposing. I think both are gorgeous & different kind of films. The genres of both the movies are dissimilar, made by two productive filmmakers. It has been made out as a opposition, but it is not," Priyanka Chopra told journalists here at a promotional occasion of "Bajirao Mastani".
"Being a part of this movie, I would try to encourage it as much as I can. We have Bajirao & Mastani, Sanjay Sir & I to promote the movie. But, this product doesn't need greatly promotion. When it is played, it speaks for itself," she said.
The 33-year-old "Mary Kom" actress exposed that she was the first one to be cast for "Bajirao Mastani".

"I was the first one to be finalized for this movie. I knew I was to play Kashi. We were shooting for 'Mary Kom' while Bhansali sir told me about this movie. I not at all knew who would
play Bajirao and Mastani," Priyanka said.
"For me it was tempting to play a nature (Kashi Bai) as it never got say in history. I have forever played strong characters. It was difficult to play a mild character like this. But I would be unlock to play Bajirao & Mastani," she said.
Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting in the US for her well-liked TV show "Quantico" & back home in India she is promoting "Bajirao Mastani".

"My shooting (for 'Bajirao Mastani') got over before I started 'Quantico'. Present was little work that was left & for it I used to fly down from the US, come here & complete my part. The movie started at Kashi vila and then we finished my major chunk, then assassination of Bajirao & Mastani began," she said.
Filmmaker Prakash Jha, who has teamed up with Priyanka Chopra for the sequel of "Gangaajal", freshly said that he hopes the global fame of the actress will help her films get more love from viewers here.
To this, Priyanka said, "I hope my movies benefit from my earlier work as an actor."
