Aamir Khan recently talked on the growing bigotry in India. The actor, too exposed that for the first time his wife Kiran Rao asked him whether to move out of India. Talking regarding the same, Aamir Khan to Indian Express, ''Kiran & I have lived every our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we leave of India? That's a disastrous & big statement for Kiran Rao to make to me. She doubts for her child. She fears in relation to what the ambiance around us will be. She feels afraid to open the newspapers every day. That does specify that there is a sense of growing unrest.'' 

Aamir further added, ''As a person, as a citizen, definitely I have also been worried, I can't reject it, by a number of incidents. For us, as Indians, to feel a sense of security, 2-3 things are important. The sense of fairness gives lots of security to the frequent man.''
''The instant thing, that is important, are the populace who are the elected legislature, at the state level or the level of the Centre... while people take law in their own hands, we look upon these legislature to take a strong stance, make strong statements & speed up the lawful process to act against such cases. It doesn't substance who the ruling party is," he said. 

Aamir further clarified "On television debates, I see somewhere one political party, in this case, the BJP which is ruling right currently, is accused of various effects. They said, ‘But what happened in 1984?'. But that doesn't make right what's occurrence now. What happened in ‘84 was catastrophic & awful.'' ''At other times too, throughout ages, when there is a violent act, when an innocent being is killed, be it one or a large number, that's especially unfortunate. & these unlucky moments are the ones when we look towards our best to take a strong step. Make statements that are reassuring to the people,'' the Dangal actor said.
