Hate Story 3 movie review: Sharman Joshi, Zareen Khan & Karan Singh Grover’s revenge drama is high on sex & low on IQ!

The movie is directed by Vishal Pandya.
Let me start of with a provision…this review is totally useless in its existence, just like the plot of the movie. This movie will be a hit, no substance what I say here, going by the crowded show I witnessed in the morning, thronged by girls above boys. So all I can do is try making this review as entertaining as likely because I am sure you are going for the film even if I tell you not to! So let me start…
What’s it about

Once upon a time in Mumbai, there was a content couple – a winning industrialist Aditya Diwan (Sharman Joshi) & his sexy wife Siya (Zareen Khan). To set up their love, in case you have some doubts, within 5 minutes of the beginning, you have the molestation of Sadak song Tumhe Apna Banane, anywhere Sharman Joshi claws his way throughout Zareen Khan. Soon the villain of their ‘idyllic’ love story enters in the shape of a rich mysterious magnate, Sourav Singhania (Karan Singh Grover), who has a enduring smirk pasted on his face, &  has a penthouse that faces Mumbai skyline which is as real as the plan of the movie. To establish that he is a man who lives on the border, the director really makes him stand on the edge on his ramparts for his entry scene! Well, pending back to the plot, Sourav entices Aditya with an exclusive car, & invites him to his house. For some reason, Aditya tags his wife down with him, wherever Sourav is shown getting ‘infatuated’ with her. He offers lots of money to Aditya if he allows Siya to expend a night with him. Aditya, being his Siya Ke Ram, obviously refuses. So Sourav begins to damage his businesses, starting off by poisoning his cola manufacture. To counter his moves, Aditya sends his Girl Friday, Kaya (Daisy Shah) to Sourav to seduce the man & find out what he actually wants. See, Kaya is an in fact interesting character, a ‘successful’ business employee, who is willing to sleep approximately with random men just so that her boss is happy (Madhur Bharkar, satisfy note…someone just stole your scheme of Corporate!). So the lucky frontbenchers & Karan Singh   get to ogle Daisy Shah in a variety of states of undress. But Sourav, being a elegant cookie, smells out the double cross, & plays around it. Soon Aditya finds himself trapped in a mixture of lawful complications, including murder. Will he & Siya be able to come out of the catch laid in front of them? Will Siya concur to spend a night with Sourav? Who the hell is Sourav? Why am I silent writing the plot when the only cause you are watching the movie is to see the smooches and Zareen & Daisy taking off their clothes?
What’s hot
Fine, the ladies are hot & so is Karan (Sorry Sharman bhaiyya!). I signify, that’s the only cause why there are there were so a lot of girls in the show. The plot moves at a honest pace, throwing twist after twist on your for the major runtime. Although the twists can be sniffed away from a mile, at least it keeps the story engaging. Amongst the performances, it’s just Karan Singh Grover who manages to create some sort of crash, even if there is that annoying enduring smirk pasted on his face. Furthermore oh yes…there is lots of skin show on show, & none seems censored!

What’s not
Hate Story 3 is like if Demi Moore’s offensive Proposal is written by Vikram Bhatt & directed by Abbas-Mustan in one of their bad days. The real director of the movie, Vishal Pandya, knows that the film’s audience is merely there to see the baseness, so never bothered to think if the plot makes a few sense. But if populace who come to see a skin flick & leave out of the hall, muttering curses regarding the idiocy of the plot, you know things have gone wrong. Although there are sufficient twists in the movie, the cause for why they exists is so unintelligent that you may want to strangle on your popcorn. while we finally see the reason why Sourav desire to destroy Aditya in the first place, I can bet your give will not oppose meeting your forehead. It armed forces you to question why precisely did Sourav take such a complicated way to destroy vengeance on Aditya, what time he can do it in a far additional simpler way? as well what was the reason at the back his persistence on sleeping with Siya? Was it to show that tattoo, which she just sees after they have sex & not during the act? The movie deliberately tries to misinform you by throwing many of red herrings. movie this, the ‘so-loyal-to her boss-that she-is-willing -to sleep-around’ Kaya finds herself screwing up her boss’ money, & the next instant she is shown dancing approximately in a rave gathering. one more scene has Sourav limb-twisting Siya to sleep with him, and suddenly a romantic song plays in the backdrop! The dialogues are written directly from rejected B-grade movie of the ’90s, with the only hip thing regarding the multiple usage of the F word. still the BG score is jarring!

Zarine Khan & Daisy Shah serve the reason why they are in the movie – showing lots of skin. Though, the moment they open their lips to speak or do a small bit of emoting, you want to run for the hills! Daisy Shah is slightly better than Zareen Khan, although…marginally, just marginally. Also a 2 minute silence  for one of the most gifted actors in Bollywood, Sharman Joshi. He spends the whole film screaming his lungs out & looking so weary, that we want to send a 12th man out to replace him. oddly, his whole track is evocative of what you saw in another movie of his, a far superior but underrated Raqeeb. The climax fight is lifted directly from Shahid Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Fida.

What to do
If you are frantic enough to observe a skin-brush, only then go for it, or better, watch a Zalman King film that at least have people who don’t have sex with their clothes on! If you are departure to see a plot-driven play, I have only 3 words …Ha Ha Ha!
Special note to Censor Board: bizarre are your ways, sires! In a discussion, that has both the F word & bastard   it’s weird that you want to swap the latter with ‘rascal’, while careful the F word!
