With the rumours of Pulkit Samrat & Yami Gautam‘s affair floating around, Pulkit Samrat finally opened up regarding her role in his separation from his wife.
He told Filmfare:

This is like India trailing the cricket match and people blaming Ricky Ponting for it. It’s incorrect, why drag her? I am just keeping for myself busy. I don’t have the time to think about something. I get out of my house in the morning, promote the movie. By the time I reach home I am so tired that I instantly fall asleep, my mind is totally occupied with my job. Work is a healer. We have got to give him space & respect his privacy. That is why I just messaged him. Yami Gautam messaged me saying that our other friends & she stood by me and would be there forever. She wrote that it may be a tricky time but not that difficult that it would not pass.

Yami Gautama greed with him and added:
