Priyanka Chopra  is seen mouthing some intense dialogues in perfect Hindi, something she did not find hard to do. “I grew up in UP & I was born in Bihar so my Hindi is good. My mother knows both Hindi & Urdu. We speak the language at home. I was very happy that I got a chance to speak such good Hindi because typically we speak Hinglish in our movies.
“My character Abha comes from Lucknow. There is a gentleness in her language but her diction is extremely clear. It is my job as an actor drag off all kind of roles.” She has interesting company in her co-star as Prakash Jha, besides directing, makes his full-fledged acting debut as a cop with dubious ethics in the film.
Priyanka Jha says she had a gala time bullying the director as he is her for children when it comes to acting. ”He was bullied all through the movie lots of because it was his first film (as an actor) but he took it in his stride. It was lots of fun to have your director as your co-star. He has done a unique job. I don’t think anybody could have done a justice to the role.”

“The all credit for my acting goes to all the filmmakers who gave me such sundry roles, they were my movie school. ”Also, I never take my work for decided. I take every character seriously & try and provide my best whether it is small or big.”
After stealing the show with her empathic depiction of Kashibai in “Bajirao Mastani”, Co star Priyanka is back as a very tough cop in “Jai Gangaajal” & the actress says she is consciously opting for roles in Bollywood that stand for the modern Indian woman.
She has recognized herself as one of the best performers of her age group of actresses in Hindi cinema besides a budding career in Hollywood that saw her attractive the first female star from India to front a US TV show in Quantico. She is currently all set to make her Hollywood movie debut as the chief villain opposite Dwayne Johnson in upcoming movie “Baywatch”. Priyanka Chopra says she is consciously gravitating towards roles that have additional to offer despite the length ofthe part.
“It was very significant for me to play strong feminine characters in my movies. I started doing that a long time ago, be it ‘Kaminey’ where I had just 8 scenes,  Kashibai in ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
