Actor Shahid Kapoor, who began his carrier as a backdrop dancer in Taal &  Dil To Pagal Hai, has had his share of both controversies & accolades. Charming & talented, Pankaj Kapur & Neelima Azim’s son could have simply consolidated his place on the top of the pile after Vivaah, Jab We Met, Kaminey & Haider. Shahid may be the most non-controversial approximately, but his name has been dragged in some controversies of late. He added “Shahid Kapoor  took very long to complete Chance Pe Dance. The financial plan shot up and Ken had to shell out a not many crores to compensate the producers.”

But later Ken say “For the opening time in his career Shahid Kapoor  was doing three films at the same time—Kaminey, Dil Bole Hadippa & my film Chance Pe Dance. Naturally there was a clash of interest.”

Shahid & his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor grabbed headlines for all the mistaken reasons when an MMS of them making away was leaked. The duo were video  taped kissing at close choice at a nightspot in Juhu. A local sensationalist published the pictures forcing Kareena Kapoor into an embarrassing circumstances with her racy image.

When IT official set out to raid Beauty Priyanka Chopra’s Versova residence were in for a shock when they were greeted not by the sultry siren but by a drowsy Shahid. He lives just 3 minutes away from my home & it was but natural for me to give him a call what time all that was happening. My mother was too supposed to be there but she couldn’t make it. So I gave him a call & he rushed to my apartment building just as he was”.
While hosting the global Indian movie Academy Awards 2015 (IIFA) Ranveer Singh & Arjun Kapoor introduced the Haider artist in a very funny way, when he came to bring together his award at the IIFA stage. Ranveer Singh asked Shahid that is he invited to the wedding? To which Shahid Kapoor said, “Not invited.”

The source too added, “It was all in good humour although, Shahid was smiling & Ranveer was having fun at Shahid Kapoor’s expense.” This was a part of the choke that wasn’t really planned.
The latest argument dogging Shahid Kapoor is that he opted out of the YR Film (Yash Raj film ) directed by Maneesh Sharma. A section of the production claims he was asked to leave since he turned up for one of their rituals in a pair of shorts & afterward refused to attend the reading and rehearsal sessions. Shahid Kapoor has now been replaced by the up & coming Sushant Singh Rajput.
