Mahendra Singh Dhoni & his IPL (Indian Premier League) team Chennai Super Kings’s screech Podu (their slogan & anthem) might have fallen hushed, but Sunny Leone has no meaning of letting it die. Sunny is using the words ‘whistle podu’ (which means ‘blow the whistle’) to endorse her cricket team Chennai Swaggers, which is part of Ekta Kapoor’s box cricket association.

Says a source close to Sunny Leone, “The whistle podu tradition is going to persist with Chennai Swaggers & Sunny Leone will be distributing whistles to the crowds who come to see the game & will blow it occasionally as well. The whistle will be an significant tool for promoting Chennai Swaggers. City tours are being planned to agree with some of the matches & a music video featuring Sunny Leone is on the cards as well. The vocabulary might feature in their group anthem as well.”

Says the source, “CSK had the screech and it became part of the team’s identity. plus since Sunny Leone’s team is called Chennai Swaggers, she requirements to use the customary whistle-blowing forward. CSK has been balanced for two years from the IPL & they can’t use the song of praise till then, but the screech must go on!”

Concludes Sunny Leone, “The whistle has forever been an integral part of our team & this time around, the screech will be used every time our team scores a frontier or a six or takes a wicket.”
