As Sonam Kapoor-starrer Neerja hits theaters, the Female performer is overjoyed with the response coming the film’s way with some top filmmakers, actors & even cricketing and political icons praising the movie. The movie, which showcases the courage shown by Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am Air flight attendant who saved the lives of 359 passengers during a hijacking at Karachi airport in 1986, had moved Sonam Kapoor and so she went all out to promote the movie. But she was not just promoting the film, but in fact spearhead the promotions. We have seen actors like Aamir Khan & Hrithik Roshan spearheading movie campaigns many a times. During P.K., Aamir Khan went to lots of people’s house across the nation and asked them about their problems. During Bang Bang, Hrithik Roshan came up with the Bang Bang dares.

Similarly, Sonam Kapoor came up with the #FearVsNeerja campaign, that confident people to fight their fears head on. Numerous biggies from the industry too supported Sonam Kapoor in this endeavor. Everybody recorded videos documenting their fear & posted them on social media. The Neerja actress even went all out to promote the movie & traveled to cities across the country to meet with her fans.

Although, this is not the first time she has started a campaign like this. Previous, Sonam Kapoor set the Dubsmash promotions trend when she encouraged her industry friends & fans to post their Dubsmash videos of the title track of PRDP(Prem Ratan Dhan Payo). She came up with a truly inventive activity that turned the title track of PRDP  into a Dubsmash sensation by getting her friends, family & even her household staff to lip-sync to the song & post the vine on her social media sites.
