Nasty fights, scheming games, back-biting, voyeurism & volatile characters, Bigg Boss is called the baap of every one realism shows for no reason. Although, this year the image of India’s most contentious reality shows has taken a beating with the actions being rather dull inside the house. Yes, rumors are the TRPs have come down & the makers are in a fix. So much so, that Bigg Boss 9 has scolded the contestants for their lack of originality & initiative. We did a inconsiderate on what robbed Bigg Boss of its spice this season…

Timing:
The length of with the theme of Double Trouble, curiosity levels went a lot superior when the new timing of 10.30pm was announced. After witnessing poolside appointment, massage sessions, clandestine kisses; the original time slot had generated the impact that there would be more mature content. However, there has been none of that so far. Actually, it has been pretty clean. With this content, Bigg Boss could have simply aired at 9pm, a slot that got them extra viewership over the years.


Contestants
We feel this has been a enormous letdown for the audience this season. There are no names on the demonstrate, who actually have a pan-India presence or are well-liked in an infamous manner . The only Bollywood presence is in the form of Rimi Sen, who really doesn’t want to be inside the home! There are not many who actually know regarding Keith Sequeira, Mandana Karimi, Suyyash Rai or Roopal Tyagi. While the previous editions had people who were allegedly “out of work” but they had some ease. But with no one being conscious of the past or present of the in progress contestants, they have zero interest value and have not even build up on it.

Absence of a vamp/villain
Believe of the people who achieved stardom after Bigg Boss & you will find your answer. Season 9 of Bigg Boss does not have that nature who can make all the contestants stand up. Think regarding Dolly Bindra, Pooja Misrra, Sambhavna Seth or still Gauahar Khan to a certain degree. They lent Bigg Boss the bite that made it an addictive realism show. Guys like Armaan Kohli, Kushal Tandon & Gautam Gulati had also pitched in to make the show a hit one.

Host blues
a lot of feel that Salman is not in his element this season. The actor is busy with a pair of projects, especially Sultan that needs a lot of his time. perhaps he is just unable to concentrate on the show or perhaps he can do little to rouse the quite lethargic contestants. He doesn’t seem to be awfully excited and the interactions are not much fun.

Miss Goody Two-Shoes syndrome
We are more than two weeks into the war but everyone still seems to be wearing a front. They are going out of their way to make everybody comfortable & at ease. The Couples are also maintaining a decorum that is quite unforeseen in Bigg Boss. With two couples in the show, audience were expecting a lot more. Other than Rochelle Rao’s slight envy towards Mandana Karimi, there is hardly any TV. Only Kishwer Merchantt seems to be contravention free now.
