Did Virat Kohli just call Anushka his GIRLFRIEND?

Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli’s recent split came as a shocker to a lot of. In fact when NewsBollywood quizzed fans which star couple would they want to see reconcile – Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif or then Virat – Anushka, the latter won maximum votes. Clearly the news afterwards someway made die-hard fans of the two wish even harder for their patch up. We exposed how Anushka Sharma had congratulated Virat Kohli after his fabulous performance at the ongoing ICC World 20-20. Anushka Sharma who had split with Virat Kohli a little ahead of Valentines-Day was attacked by Twitter troll from the very beginning. It just got worse when people in cyberspace hinted that Anushka’s ouster from KOhli’s life had improved his performance on field. Of course unlike earlier Virat wasn’t there to defend his ladylove, so it only worsened with each match. Yesterday was no different. Virat Kohli was hailed for concluding the match against Australia in style and Anushka Sharma was trolled.

Virat Kohli seems to have had enough of all this bullsh@t! The cricketer took to social media to state his anger. On both Twitter & his Instagram page Virat Kohli posted, “Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka Sharma for the longest time & connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Disgrace on blaming & making fun of her when she has no control over what i do with my sport. If anything she has just motivated and given me more positivity. This was extended time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. & i don't need any respect for this post. Have some compassion & respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if a celebrity trolled them & very conveniently rubbished them in public.”

Of course this is the first time Virat Kohli has spoken for Anushka Sharma since their split. Both Anushka & Virat had refrained from commenting on their relationship NewsBollywood had learned from sources that Kohli wanted to win back Anushka Sharma. The alleged reason for the couple’s split was wedding. Rumours too suggested that Virat Kohli wasn’t too happy with Anushka Sharma signing Sultan opposite Salman Khan. Though, neither of them came out & spoke about any of this. Anushka Sharma has maintained a staunch silence & when Virat Kohli was quizzed about Anushka Sharma he shut the paparazzi.
