Find Out! Here's why Devoleena Bhattacharjee wants to quit Saath Nibhaana Saathiya

Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays the role of Gopi Bahu in Star Plus' superhit show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, has expressed her want to quit the show as she doesn't want to play a grandmother.

About 4 years ago, Devoleena Bhattacharjee replaced Gia Manek, as Gopi, who was shown the door during the night for participating in a dance reality show of a rival channel. Even although, Devoleena was initially not happy playing a mother to grown-up kids, she approved on with the show. but, this time the actress has decided to put her foot down. 

presently on the show, Gopi's daughter is shown to be expecting a child, thus Devoleena will have to play a grandmother extremely soon. 
The 25-year old artist says she will quit the show if one more generation leap is introduced.

"Isn't it sufficient that a young lady like me is playing mother to such mature girls? I was patient so far. But I surely won't be comfortable playing a grandmother. I will wait till the original team takes a decision. If they take a leap, I will give up," she was quoted as saying by The newsbollywood.
Saath Nibhaana Saathiya premiered on Star Plus on 3rd May, 2010 and has been the top TRP generating illustrate of the channel. Despite running for six years, the show continues to be in the top Five of Hindi fiction shows rating chart. 
At the similar time, the show is often slammed in the social media for its irrational & over dramatic scenes.
