2 States
The film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States was received quite well at the box office. Alia Bhatt portrayed the role of Ananya superbly, but before the role landed in Alia’s kitty, Anushka Sharma had already gone through the script & rejected it, like a boss.

Tamasha

Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha received varied reviews but the performances by lead actors won lots of hearts. Anushka Sharma would have had a chance to bask in that glory, but she rejected Imtiaz’s offer & the role went to Deepika Padukone. It is said that Anushka Sharma rejected the movie because Imtiaz Ali had rejected her in the past, well, karma it is then?

Ki and Ka
The forthcoming rom-com starring Kareena Kapoor was first offered to none other than our Anushka Sharma! R. Balki had written the script keeping Kareena Kapoor in mind as the lead, but since he wasn’t sure whether she would accept the offer, he approached Anushka Sharma first. When Anushka Sharma refused the offer, R. Balki went back to his original choice for the film.

Baar Baar Dekho
After Dil Dhadakne Do, Farhan Akhtar offered Anushka Sharma a chance to work on his forthcoming movie, Baar Baar Dekho which the actress refused. The position was then offered to Katrina Kaif & she’s all ready with her look for the film. We can totally imagine Anushka Sharma rocking that hairdo! Too bad she rejected the film.
