Reportedly, at the party, Kat  went to meet Ranbir & requested him for a patch up but he confidently told her that the relationship is over. Talking regarding the same, a source told Deccan Chronicle, ''At a current birthday party Katrina & Ranbir Kapoor came face to face for the first time behind their break-up. They neither looked through each other nor spoke graciously. It was much more intense. Katrina Kaif actually went up to Ranbir Kapoor and asked him if they could give their relationship another try. Ranbir Kapoor refused to entertain the thought. He resolutely told her it's over."
