Though there were people who maligned Rani’s image, calling her home breaker, she had always maintained a stately silence over this subject. Finally, after marriage Rani spoke about this whole thing. Since per Rani, she started dating Aditya, 3 years back, after his divorce was finalized.

This is what Rani has to say, “different to all rumours, I started seeing him only when he was out of his divorce & was not my producer. I started seeing him at a point when I was not working with him as dating your maker was not my cup of tea.”

As per the couple, they had been friends for a very long time & forever bonded well. Somehow, this struck a chord with him and he optional Karan Johar to cast her in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as he had liked Rani’s performance in Raja ki Aayegi Baraat.
