Hrithik Roshan & Katrina Kaif could not create any bang on the box office with their movie ‘Bang Bang’. The movie was a copy from the Hollywood film ‘Knight and Day’. The film ‘Knight and Day’starred Cameron Diaz & Tom Cruise. Bollywood film ‘Bang Bang’ was amazingly expected by the masses, but the film failed to create any spark on the silver screen.
Stepmom- We Are Family
With an attractive star cast of Kareena Kapoor , Kajol & Arjun Rampal, ‘We Are Family’was expected to do wonderful at the box office. The movie was a remake of Hollywood film ‘Stepmom’. The pictures was a dud at the box office & the songs too couldn’t create any buzz. Moreover, masses even started doubting Kajol - Kareena’s choice of movies!
Action Replayy- Back To The Future
Featuring superstar Akshay Kumar & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles along with Aditya Roy Kapur & Neha Dhupia, ‘Action Replayy’ was nothing but a display of weird costumes & jarring looks. With Aishwarya Rai’s over acting & Akshay’s not so needed stints, ‘Action Replayy’was an needless remake of Hollywood brush ‘Back To The Future’.
The Italian Job- Players
Filmmakers Abbas and Mustan added a question mark in their believable filmography with the film ‘Players’. The movie ‘Players’ was an official remake of the Hollywood hit movie ‘The Italian Job’. With weak characterization & humungous budget the movie failed to impress the masses at the theaters. Well, it’s certainly over the top to accept Abhishek Bachchan in the shoes of Mark Wahlberg.
I Know What You Did Last Summer- Kucch To Hai
After the movie ‘Kucch To Hai’ a lot of surely opined that Ekta Kapoor should stick to producing now serials. ‘Kucch To Hai’ was a remake of the Hollywood movie ‘I know What You Did Last Summer’. With Rishi Kapoor in a not so horror full character, the film was haywire & horribly executed. The movie ‘Kucch Toh Hai’ boomed badly at the box office.
She’s The Man- Dil Bole Hadippa!
The horrifying casting of Rani Mukerji & Shahid Kapoor still irks the eyes by all means. The film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa!’ was touted to be there launch pad for Rani but instead created a black mark on her believable career. The film was a remake of the Hollywood movie ‘She’s The Man’ but was not even close to it.
My Best Friend’s Wedding- Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai
The movie ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ was not also worse but was not even good. The film starred actors Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Tulip Joshi & Bipasha Basu. The plot was insecurely adapted but had its share clichéd dialogues & not so impressing shots. The Bollywood remake was nowhere justified in comparison to the movie ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’.
Bruce Almighty- God Tussi Great Ho
‘Bruce Almighty’ starred impressive actors Jennifer Aniston & Jim Carrey; the film was applauded for its novel concept. The Bollywood film ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ starred Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan & Sohail Khan. ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ is one of the worst decisions ofSalman Khan. The Bollywood flick was exasperating to the core with Priyanka Chopra’s over the top expressions; Sohail’s not so needed punch lines & Salman’s presence all together.
Serendipity- Milenge Milenge
‘Milenge Milenge’ can really be crowned as the worst Bollywood remake of a Hollywood movie. Starring Kareena Kapoor & Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, the movie was nothing but a display of meaningless chemistry between the two actors. ‘Serendipity’ on the other hand is respected by the masses for its simplistic performances.
