- Consequently the breakup wasn’t a spur of the thing moment. The decision to go separate ways was a little that happened after a series of long drawn fights that continued for weeks. Ranbir & Katrina wanted this to work, like any couple in love, they also hoped the relationship would lead to a marriage. But clearly that wasn’t the case.

- Ranbir’s non promise on planning a wedding was a big reason for the split. The common friend says that Ranbir Kapoor would develop cold feet each time this subject came up. Too each time they fought the only way Katrina Kaif agreed to give this another chance was on RK’s promise that there would be a wedding.

- Deepika Padukone had nothing to do with this! Information suggesting that her proximity to Ranbir during the Tamasha promotions was responsible for the break up are wrong. DP is committed to making her relationship with Ranveer Singh work.
