The year started on a gloomy note for the Kapoor's family as news broke out that Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif ended their long term relationship. Since then a lot of reports about their troubled relationship, their secret meetings, a probable patch up & much more was circulated in the media. Though, there hasn’t been any reconciliation even after two months of their break up. Ranbir Kapoor’s family has too been quiet about the whole issue, but it seems RK’s mother Neetu Kapoor lastly opened up about his son’s relationship & it was something unexpected!

At a recent event, while Neetu Kapoor was asked what she had to speak about Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage and his association with Katrina Kaif, she said, “What should I say? Everybody has their own life, so I don’t want to say anything.” This came as a bit of a shock since the mother & son are really thick & despite that, Neetuji made this statement. Earlier, she was not fond of the actor’s ex Deepika Padukone & then her dislike for Katrina Kaif became obvious behind she cropped the Bang Bang actress from a family picture.

But, it seems the star’s mother warmed up to the actress & they were ready to get the couple married too, though things didn’t go according to plan.
