The movie Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai was a useless effort in aping the best of the adult seriesAmerican Pie. With more than a few steamy scenes & skin show, the movie was high on sleaze, but low on fun. The pictures, however, managed to do good business at the box office owing to its craze among the infancy. But it failed to emerge as a humor comedy due to its racy one-liners, which invited the anger of the critics who shouted out loud, Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai. 

You may absolutely not like your kid playing the Delhi Belly prank of satisfying a box with body excreta. The movie was fun but highly unfortunate for kids. It was a black comedy complete of abuses, smelly jokes & scenes which could fill the film theatre with pungent smell. The ‘out of the world’ writing was a super-hit & Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur & Vir Das were applauded for their crazy act. 

Vicky Donor is one of the a lot of such movies which may have been seen by kids on TV, but we wonder how much they understood. A movie which tells the story of a sperm donor who sells his sperm to parents who cannot imagine, is a good idea, but not for kids. Though Ayushmann Khurrana got enough approval for his acting as well as his singing entrance, the movie dealt with an adult subject which was better left for adults to appreciate. 

Mirch had an engaging script & was a fun watch, but it was positively not for kids. A combination of short stories, it was not a humor comedy, but had a humorous base. With superb performances put up by Konkona Sen Sharma & Raima Sen, the movie was definitely much different from the common comedies. In case you have missed it, do have a seem at this sleepy humor with a spicy twist. 

The movie Shaukeen revolves around 3 lecherous men who want to have a little fun. Though the movie may not look too racy nowadays, it was a successful trial done about 3 decades ago. The movie worked well due to an engaging script & an interesting turn of events, but the theme it dealt with was new to the 80s. With superb performances put up by Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt & AK Hangal, the movie was not supposed to be a family drama in that decade. 


Masti was one of the very little adult comedies being complete at that time, & was loaded with adult jokes & slang. Though, the film was a success as it revived the extended lost genre of adult comedies in Bollywood film. With funny performances & fresh one-liners like 'Tumse aadhe second ki bhi doori mujhe aadha kar deti hai,' the movie was loved by the picture-goers. It lastly made way for lots of more upcoming adult comedies. 

The film Mumbai Matinee was a grave comedy & worth an applause. Since director Anant Balani approved away before the release of the movie, the movie could not be promoted on a big scale. Though, the exclusive script & the acting excellence of Rahul Bose grabbed notice. The desperation of a 32-year-old virgin man   & how he is filmed in a C-grade movie makes it a must watch.
